Who we are ...
We, that is the local chapter "TU Dresden" of the german amateur radio
club (DARC),
are committed to the hobby amateur radio in many different ways. For
our activities we
run our clubstation DL0TUD in the Barkhausen- building of the Dresden
University of Technology. Here, we meet every Tuesday at about 7:00
p.m. local time. Everybody who's interested or who is a guest in
Dresden is welcome to join our meeting.
What we do ...
At our club station we have two places for HF (shortwave) and VHF / UHF
operators.
Here, we can transmit on the ham radio bands from 1.8 MHz to 28 MHz and
144 MHz to
430 MHz, respectively. Furthermore, we are able to receive signals from
ham radio
satellites in the 2400 MHz band (using a converter from DB6NT). Whoever
wants to take
a look at our equipment is invited to do so here:
Beside our fixed location on the campus of the university, we also
participate
in the various VHF / UHF / SHF contests from our portable sites. For
this purpose special internet sites exists:
As mentioned above: We meet every Tuesday at about 7:00 p.m. local time
in the room
of our clubstation in the Barkhausen- building. The way to our station

Who already owns a ham radio license and
is trying to reach one of our members is best
served using our repeater on 438,875 MHz (Tx: -7,6 MHz).
Sometimes, even somebody
calling CQ gets an answer ;-). Or you can write us a packet radio based
