Comments
Contrary to last year, this year we had very favorable weather conditions for the May contest. Just a little rain on Saturday morning, but it was mostly dry and we even had some sunshine. The rain was elsewhere, which resulted in some nice RS contacts on 3cm, including our first ever 10GHz-contact with Croatia (9A1Z).
Apart from this, band conditions were rather normal. Some good tropo contacts up to 23cm to the Balkans, but the western direction didn't work very well. Relatively few contacts with PA and G on the higher bands, but once again G3XDY made his own propagationand made it into our log up to 13cm.
Additional to the regular team, Sven, DG0VOG, Eike, DL1IKE and Mario, DL2UX joined us this time. Eike and Mario sported a very good result on 2m, Sven operated on 70cm.
